30th Anniversary--June 2010

Our children were very generous and gave us a night at a Bed & Breakfast in Iowa--about 20 miles from Omaha. We really enjoyed Castle Unicorn. It was very unique. We stayed in the King's Suite and were the only guests. The owners were very friendly and good hosts. The castle was built as a home in the 80's. In the 90's the owner died. In 1999 the new owners turned it into a bed and breakfast and also have weddings there. I wish we'd taken more pictures--like of the dining room and the huge bathroom. Very fancy. The whirlpool had 2 faucets to fill the tub in the shape of gold swans. The room was as big as our 2 bedrooms and bathroom put together. The castle is very remote on 400 acres. It was very peaceful there and we enjoyed the lusch green forest. Thank you Alicia, Adam, Andrew, Allison, Alex, & Aimee!
